In previous years, BBDO Japan was involved in product promotion, TVC creation, and print production as the brand’s agency. From this year however, we have been fully on board in the sponsorship launch efforts for the marathon through creating event logos and graphics, as well as coordinating and managing the New Balance booth during the actual event.
Masanao Takahashi, account director said, “New Balance has been focusing on the running category recently, and had launched their new campaign just this January called Fearlessly Independent. This event became a place to materialize that campaign, –––to bring the fearless independence to life for all the runners to experience. I feel honored to have been able to participate in the world’s largest women’s running event as part of that initiative. Interacting with those runners first hand has been a truly valuable learning experience for myself.”
