For industry news, we were lucky to have two speakers this month. First, Hal-san shared his experience and takeaways from being a jury at this year’s APAC Effie award. As Effie award is an award that significantly values campaign effectiveness, the jury process was apparently immensely rigorous.
Yatsu-san in strategy followed this talk by sharing the skill of writing entry papers for awards. Turns out defining and framing the problem was the most crucial factor in getting through the door. Perhaps, following this tip contributed to us winning the Bronze award at the APAC Effie this year for Snickers Hunger Reply campaign.
For work sharing, Mariko and Louis talked about the M&Ms edible art campaign. We then had a spontaneous M&Ms arts and beer session and created some genuinely exceptional and hilarious pieces of art with M&Ms. Check out the masterpiece below.
