The Network of The Year award is granted to “Network whose member companies obtain the most points for winning and shortlisted entries”. This year, the Agency of The Year Award went to adam&eve DDB London, followed by AMV London and BBDO New York. adam&eve DDB London took home not just one but triple —Gold, Silver, and Bronze award for their amazing “Trolling is ugly” Instagram campaign for the Cybersmile Foundation. This campaign was aimed to stop cyber bulling. They were praised for not just the concept, but also for the execution. Omnicom, our holding company was awarded holding company of the year as well.
Cannes Lion Festival has been going on since 1954 and is the most established award for the creative industry. Most importantly, “winning work from the festival gives 54% higher ROI than non-creatively awarded work”. Winning the network of the year award is such an honor, as it comes to prove our creative ability, and effectiveness across border. Having that unified and high standard on a global scale is increasingly important in the proliferating global economy.
