From 3 to 7 May, 2017, BBDO Japan’s client, BACARDI JAPAN, held an event, “Flavor Journey Express by Bombay Sapphire” in Shibuya Cast.
During the event Bombay Sapphire offered people the chance to experience the delicious cocktails in a special bar. As you enter a botanical garden like lobby-lounge of the bar, there’s a digital art table showing a map of the journey. A digital experiential event take you historically back to the 1700s as “passenger explorers” onboard the Flavor Journey Express for a fully immersive and multi-sensorial journey to discover the 10 botanical ingredients behind the world famous iconic blue bottled gin.
“With a glass of cocktail on one hand, customers enjoyed playing with the digital illustration board. It seemed people loved the event and gin and tonics. Many of them stayed for a long time with their friends,” said Tomoko Fujitsuka, our account supervisor.
During the campaign, 50ml mini Bombay Sapphire Gin bottles were presented to those who posted pictures on SNS hash tag #bombaysapphire on a first come first served basis.
